Senior Cross Country

Rendered Image

Start stretching for the long run.
The bell rang, the seniors started to line up for the cross country practice. Some students started to stretch. Teachers had to find their assigned corner to stand. The teachers announced to the  Year Four Junior Syndicates, “If you're a good runner then you can do three laps  with the seniors.”
We headed for  Mrs Golder, down to Mr Reid then to Mrs Buchanan and lastly  to Miss Ginders. We ran down Tripoli Road,  across to Hinaki Street and up Torino Street. Most of the seniors started to walk and kept on  walking and for their consequence they had to run after lunch. By the time the students completed three laps they were dawdling towards the end. The seniors ran their hardest  all the way to the finish line.
Mika, Don, Simon, and I tried to  keep running non-stop, but it wasn't that easy. All the teachers started  to shout at the students to keep on running, but as usual they didn’t listen. “It was hard work,” I moaned.

Origami

I'm colorful and fast, I can fly and live mostly anywhere. Yes you're right, I'm a bird.
In Room 12 we all made an animal or creature that lives in the forest, students made flowers, wild cats, even dinosaurs. The one I made was an ordinary origami bird. Most students invented their own creation of a creature that lives in the forest.

My Daffodil

My Daffodil is an outstanding piece of art.  It looks hard to make but it seems pretty easy when you get to make one: 20 to 30 minutes.   I took 20 minutes just to make one.  When Mika presented to the class his daffodil it inspired me to make one on my own. But I noticed that my daffodil needed a stalk so I made one.

Mrs Golder did not want to buy a vase so Sini had to make one for all of us.
